This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment on employee performance at PT. Indrawan Perkasa, Batang Gansal District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The work environment referred to includes physical aspects such as lighting, temperature, and ventilation, as well as non-physical aspects such as inter-employee relationships and communication with superiors. This study employs a quantitative method with a sample size of 70 respondents selected from the total population of employees at PT. Indrawan Perkasa. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires and analyzed using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 22, including validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear regression, and t-tests. The results of the study show that the calculated t-value of 10.412 is greater than the table t-value of 2.352 and the significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that the work environment has a significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.51 indicates that 51% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by the work environment variable, while the remainder is influenced by other factors. This finding confirms that the better the work environment conditions, the higher the employee performance.
